The Chingford office opened its doors in October 2007.
Chingford, in east London, is bounded to the north and east by Epping Forest and
the Essex border, and to the west by the River Lea and King George's Reservoir -
a popular centre for sailing and birdwatching.
Chingford has a number of listed buildings, and its landmarks include Queen
Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge, which dates back to 1543, and a granite obelisk
erected at Pole Hill in 1824. Part of Pole Hill was owned by Lawrence of Arabia
in the 1920s, and Chingford's association with the famous has continued ever
since. |
